Too often we attend gatherings, study’s, and engage in songs of praise that are not in true essence and an act of worship.

We were not created to be worshiped but rather to worship He that created us. Worship is not consumed with emotionalism.

Although it’s not only needed but it’s important to reflect consistently on what God has done it’s not truly why we worship.

Worship is God-centered. It’s imperative to worship God because He’s worthy rather than what He’s done because if you reach a time where it’s become more challenging to see the hand of God in your life you’ll worship Him from the emotions of past seasons.

While that’s not wrong to do, it’s simply not the most effective way to worship God.

As we worship it’s very important that we remember that we worship because He is God, by Him, and for Him, all things were created (including us), because of Him the veil was torn and salvation, redemption, and reconciliation are freely our portion.
