OUTLASTING THE ENEMY

James 4:7

“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

From before time began we have been waging war against our age-old adversary the devil. We have been divinely informed that even now, thousands of years later, he is not doing anything that he hasn’t already done before. As each generation and transgeneration turns over what we are witnessing is his crafty campaigns designed to repackage and distribute his ancient ominous schemes, plots, and agendas.

Interestingly enough, we have a Sovereign who is victorious on every account that many are expecting to stay the hand of the devil at absolutely no inconvenience to us.

It is inconceivable to think that God Almighty will put forth all the labor while we continue flirting with sin, transgression, and iniquity although that is exactly the undeniable expectation exemplified in the life of many believers.

Generation after generation the Ecclesia of God has been allotted with the divine logistics and linguistics needed to outlast our enemy however, it’s been proven that the conflict between spirit and flesh has overshadowed this divine truth.

Chiefly we must undergo transfiguration in our minds and mindsets to disassemble and dismantle the sophisticated idea that Satan is warring with us directly because we have done something so prestigious, worthy of his attention.

In fact, by inheritance, we are his superiors outranking him by the blood, name, power, and authority of Jesus Christ. Our efforts alone are not nor will ever be enough to outrank, outwit, or overthrow him however when we realize with precision that Christ is our Victor and we are His victory beneficiaries, we will refuse to be moved at every turn.

Much of what we must first address is our warfare with the lust flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. While many would argue that their life’s issues do not fall into those categories, if further unbiased investigation is done we would emphatically find that these 3 major categories are at the nucleus and the helm of our song and dance with the devil.

Arguably, believers because they were dissatisfied with Jesus’ timing, regularly intermingling their lives with paganism, polytheism, occultic, and satanic practices and privileges all while calling upon Jesus expecting Him to overlook the idolatry in their hearts.

It’s laughable to think we can ever outlast the enemy while consciously or unconsciously being tolerant of, participating in, or perpetuating his devices.

Now that we’ve established that chief complaint, we can further address that there are two major issues. On the one hand, those who are playing the field with Satan and those who are unwilling to utilize the divine bestowals provided to us to bring Satan into remembrance that as it is written in our divine constitution we are already on the winning side of this war.

Now, the gag is, he knows by legal metrics how to persuade us into crossing a battle line and even having one foot on both sides either reality forfeits the Kingdom of Heaven.

Resisting and outlasting Satan requires knowing without doubt that first this war exists and that we are a part of it whether we want to be or not no matter the side we ascribe to. Secondly, we must understand with clarity that Satan is God’s enemy first and we are the byproduct of his rebellion against his Maker. Thirdly, we would do well to pick a side and be fully persuaded of our campaign so that we can wage good warfare. Fourthly, without studying to show yourself approved, you are significantly underdressed for such a battle as eternal as this. Fifthly, as we understand more about the Godhead, and the Great War in Heaven, we will gain a greater depth on how, why as well as the impacts of today when Satan and a third of the angels lost their first estate.

Outlasting the enemy can only ever be achieved by divorcing every seed Satan has ever planted in you, vigilantly living consecrated and set apart to the Lord through holiness and radical obedience as well as applying the spiritual laws and protocols that legally govern Satan’s abilities and functionalities given by the Lawmaker of Heaven and earth that are enacted and reinforced by the Courts of Heaven.

James 4:7 tells us that Satan must be resisted, yet the prerequisite to this is first submission to God. Without true submission to God which leads to exclusive fidelity with Him, one can forget about resisting the devil let alone giving place to him.

Submission to God is a legal standing position that the Courts of Heaven and the spiritual protocols outlined by Almighty God examine during every legal case presented by the accuser of the brethren.

As I unpack this subject I understand the complexities that accurately explain what we are really up against and our duty to successfully keep Christ’s victory until He returns for His prepared bride.

To conclude my point, to outlast the enemy we must be willing to refuse the argument with our flesh that presents itself when we want to refuse to do things God’s way so that we are spiritually conditioned to stand in the face of darkness with no darkness in us emitting the incomprehensible light of Christ Jesus!

Warfare is hot, pressurizing, and ongoing however, we don’t wage war alone! When we remind ourselves that we have all of Heaven backing us, we would consider that Satan can never be ahead of God and that no matter what it’s looking like God cannot fail!

May you resolve that you are the apocalyptic elect of God and that no devil in hell can overthrow what Jesus has done concerning His kingdom and its inhabitants.
