INIQUITY REVEALED

Before we dive into our topic for today let’s understand the meaning of iniquity.

According to the KJV dictionary, it means: Injustice; unrighteousness; a deviation from rectitude

The Oxford dictionary relays it to mean immoral or grossly unfair behavior.

Webster defines it as a gross injustice, wickedness, a wicked act, or sin.

Sin, transgression, and iniquity while similar they categorize the magnitude of sin if you will… please note, I am not saying one sin is greater than the other. What I am saying is that all 3 are sin and can be explained in more depth.

While all 3 are sin, for the sake of this post let’s explain sin this way… The lowest degree of sin is transgression, transgression means that you have understood God’s law and have trespassed it willfully! In some instances, many can and will sin and won’t know that it was sinful in the eyes of God, yet to transgress, one has to be aware of the ordinance that was set in place.

Now let’s talk about iniquity, both transgression and unmeditated sin do not produce iniquity unless habit, tolerance, and acceptance have settled in. Iniquity is habitual sin without remorse.

Now that we’ve established those terms, let’s reflect on our post topic.

What are your next steps after God has revealed the iniquity within you?

Sure, none of us would like to stare our injustices and wrongdoings in the face however scripture tells us that if we confess our sins, our Father in Heaven is just to forgive! Furthermore, He chastens those that He loves.

Let’s stop for a moment and think about this… God has just revealed an iniquity within you, remember, according to our earlier research iniquity means that some form of sin has laid hold of you and has gained dominion.

What do you do now?

The things that God shares and reveals to us are to call us to a place of repentance, or a turning away that we be realigned with His righteous path for our lives.

The objective of iniquity is to cause bloodlines to forfeit their inheritances!

The gift of repentance is a powerful tool for spiritual maturation in the Kingdom of God.

The true nature of the term repentance is the sincere turning away in both the mind and heart from self toward God…

Repentance produces godly sorrows that result in a lasting not only impression but also a response in action and deed.

Iniquity because of its deadly agenda one must be willing to tear themselves away from the very origin of iniquity. This prophetic act will sever the seed's ability to reproduce. Call it a pulling up the root system if you will.

Without the tearing away process, once removes the posterior of inquiry leaving its root systems to sprout or spring forth in later seasons.

I would be remiss if I did not reveal that the tearing away process is often painful and uncomfortable but it’s designed to be. This process can make or break the one trying to escape its grips.

In life there are things we must endure that are uncomfortable or that many associate with the term and or idea of pain however because of its importance we do it anyway knowing that the end result is absolutely necessary. Well— it’s the EXACT same reality during this tearing away process from iniquity.

During this time, it’s of great importance that the sole focus is on God because the predictabilities of life will cause anyone to forego what could be an exhaustive and intense process.

Let me encourage you with this, GOD IS WORTH THE TEARING AWAY! This is a soul-saving act that is guaranteed to preserve the bloodline for many generations to come.

Has God revealed the iniquity in YOU? If so, consider what has been shared in this prophetic meditation. After you’ve successfully torn yourself away share this life-altering, life-giving reality with whomever the Lord leads.
