Dream Bigger!

Sometime last year God gave me a vision. In this vision, I saw what looked like a Bible study. Sadly, I wanted this but I only wanted to be a part of one that was already established. Because of this alone, I decided I would put what I saw on the back burner. At the time a friend of mine was already hosting a women’s practical Bible study so I thought surely this would be enough. Some time months later this group took a hiatus. Before doing so my friend asked if I wanted to host without her one day and let me tell to the spirit of fear straight up said uh- no! 🥴 let’s just wait until you’re able to attend with us.

Fast forward to early February 2022… while working one day, a client and influencer that loves and obeys God as I do, we were randomly talking about Bible study groups! I ended up telling her this story— still feeling God tugging at me, still hearing the Spirit of fear telling me that I just can’t possibly do this, she says, you’ve got to get started, you’ve got to move! So— I decided I would reach out to my friend to just ask if I could host in her absence, telling myself if she says yes, I’m in the clear, if she says no, I’ll start my own. Well— can I tell you, she said let’s just change the dates so she could attend. I thought okay God, I did attempt to work through this. So I reached out to my client to update her and crazily I didn’t hear from her for days! 🤔

A few days later, my sister sent me a message stating that the Lord to her to tell me to “do it” ready to reject that word, I asked, do what?, what am I doing? Immediately after, I prayed, telling God that nothing stood out to me when she delivered that word to me. I asked— what she is talking about, please give me confirmation. I began jotting down what I thought it could have been. A few hours later, my sister’s response was “thus says the Lord, you’ve been hesitant to start something, He says do it!” 😳 Two days later the host of the Sunday morning prayer line I’m a part of called me after and said “sister Grant, I want you to pray about starting a Bible study! My mouth was on the floor y’all! That was one of those “why are you in my business?” Lol. Well, I could not run nor hide from what God was calling me to do! Fast forward to 3 weeks later… the first night of Bible study came and I was a nervous wreck! This time around God told me not to reach out to those who I felt were places of comfort, His instructions were, “let Me bring the people”! I had to encourage myself in the Lord. I had to remind myself if God called me to it, He’d meet me there. Before I went into the teaching for the first night there were 8 people on the zoom meeting, when I was done sharing my screen there were 16 people on the zoom! I was completely blown away!!

My question to you is, what has God spoken to your heart that you’ve been hesitant to do? Whatever God is calling you to, He’s graced you for! I anticipated the worst but God did exactly as He told me He would. How awesome and mind-blowing is that!? Command that spirit of fear, worry, rejection, anxiety, whatever it is to leave now in the name of Jesus and go where God is calling you and do what He’s calling you to do. His grace will meet you there! 🥰
