REMAIN IN PERFECT PEACE: MAY (WOTL)

Despite what the media has not been permitted to cover, it remains no secret why many individuals, corporations, departments, and even households of faith believe what we're experiencing to be congruent with a global crisis. From the eyes and focal points of carnality, that would be an accurate statement. However, constitutionally we have been wired to think on the things which are above and eternal, and in doing so we can then trace today back to God's prophetic timeline.

Over the past few weeks, during our command the morning prayer, the Lord has been allowing us to scripturally trace the steps of the nation back to its onset of rebellion that has so loudly warranted His judgment. As we continue to cry out to the Lord in repentance and humility, we have also been given a warning from the Lord that I am to share as you continue to read on. According to scripture, the recipe for perfect peace exists but one way.

Isaiah 26:3 KJV describes it as “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Surely,, perfect peace seems absurd given the spiritual climate that we’re living in today, but on the contrary, in conjunction with what looks like ruin in all spheres of influence, accelerated heights of loftiness, and subtle cries of repentance, there is a remnant people who are dwelling in perfect peace.

It’s extremely important now more than ever, that we earnestly study the scriptures. Scripture is our guide for navigating life on this side of Heaven. With it and in it, we are able to watch with diligence and revelation the movements of God.

Globally, we are experiencing an uproar much like we did when COVID-19 took the world by storm however, as it was then, so it is now in that God has not lost control, and those who know that without doubt, we are they who understand why He is doing and allowing the things that we are seeing and experiencing.

Ultimately, we must understand that God is just in all of His ways. His superlative justice will ensure that when our Redeemer returns, there will be a blemishless bride and a mature church awaiting His arrival.

According to our prophetic guideline (scripture), we should see with full clarity that rebellion is God’s just cause. For the past 5-plus years, God’s divine reset has been underway, and through His loving kindness, grace, and mercy, we are not consumed but live another day to be made right with Him.

Having said that, how does this month’s message apply? Well, when you know the problem and already have a solution, why worry?

In our rebellion, we’ve been given a sure way to redemption. Last month, the Lord instructed us that the way of escape is through humility and repentance. This month, we’re given the next steps. As we continue to humble ourselves, working all idolatry out of our hearts and returning our souls back to our supreme Ruler, as we fix our eyes on Him in the midst of what seems like chaos as God resets the nations, we have no other course set before us aside from perfect peace.

Yes, just about every market and its influences are questioning if and where God is at all in all of this; however, because we believe better, we hold ourselves accountable, seek forgiveness, posture ourselves for realignment with God, find refuge, and dwell in perfect peace.

It’s surely not simple, but it’s absolutely worth every bit of suffering. I charge us this month to shift our perspectives. The narrative of every platform reporting the condition of the world is sowing seeds of worry, doubt, and anxiety, but I urge you to see the love of God for His people.

He loves us so much that He’s still willing to wash us clean, again and again. We’ve not been utterly cast aside but rather chastened by a loving God!

I leave you with this: His peace is not as the peace the world gives. His peace prohibits trouble and fear in our hearts.
